There are several ways to integrate your existing phone systems with babelforce. Here’s an overview of your options:

1. Connect via Personal Phone or Extension

Your employees can add their existing telephone or extension number in the "My device number" field in the babelConnect app.

Once added, they’ll receive calls routed through babelforce (e.g., from a queue or inbound route).

Outbound calls can also be made using babelforce or its integrations, with calls accepted on the device linked to their “My device number”.

For more details, read this guide.

2. Use SIP Accounts Provided by babelforce

babelforce can provide SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) accounts for your telephony devices.

These accounts allow direct integration with your device, ensuring calls are routed via babelforce.

Setup support is available through our licenses page.

3. Direct SIP Connection to Your PBX

If you’re on a babelFlex or Enterprise plan, you can connect a SIP trunk from your PBX directly to babelforce.

Employees can make outbound calls from desk phones (e.g. Cisco or SNOM or any device connected to your PBX).

Calls are routed through babelforce’s multi-carrier network, offering flexibility and cost savings.

This option is great for businesses that want more control over telephony routing and potentially lower outbound call costs.

4. Browser Phone (WebRTC)

If you prefer not to use a traditional phone system, employees can handle calls directly through a browser using WebRTC.

Flexibility to Combine Options

You can start with option #1 for simplicity and later integrate SIP connections for deeper functionality. This allows you to test how babelforce works before committing to more complex setups.
