Situation: In our call flow we have an automation that creates tickets for each received voice mail.
Problem: We are receiving a lot of empty voice mails and have many tickets with empty, therefore irrelevant recordings in Zendesk.
Solution: Only create tickets for recordings that are longer than 5 sec.
Step by step instructions:
1. Create a trigger that fires when recording duration is greater than x sec. In the example below (screenshot) we used 5 sec but you can define whatever length you think is suitable:
2. Use this trigger to fire the automation to create tickets in zendesk. Screenshot::
Please note: With this setup we will be ignoring and not further processing all recordings with a shorter length than 5sec. If you would like to know, how to process these in zendesk as well and close the tickets automatically, please refer to the article here.
