How to get a list of all expressions in the system (V2)

While creating and testing configurations, it is very useful to be able to get the list of all expressions of a session and their current values. Based on this list you are able to see if your Triggers actually work or if you should use different expressions to make them work.

If you are not sure which expressions you need to evaluate, use the placeholder {core.expressions}.

For example, send yourself an email using a local Automation in one of your modules and put the placeholder {core.expressions} in the body of the email.

Your Automation will look something like this:

Once you call the number connected to the call flow with this module, you will receive an email with the information below. Note that this will show you both, the correct expression to use in your config and its value in the current session at the moment/state you triggered the email sending. For example, you will know that you should use the placeholder {call.to.number} evaluates to "4930920373321".

(if you haven't noticed, the drop down menu of expressions shown when you create a new trigger is identical to the core.expressions list - this way you can easily decide which Trigger you can use at which point.)

Note, it is not a good idea to have this Action triggered all the time. You could be sending around a very long text email automatically every single time the Automation is trigger. So best to only evaluate core.expressions while you are testing or debugging a configuration you are working on.
