babelforce offers three roles which have different user and access rights in the babelforce world.

  1. Manager: user with a manager role can view the manager app and the dashboard
  2. Agent: an agent has no access to the manager or the dashboard; he or she is only authorized to use the babelConnect app.
  3. Reporter: To restrict the access to the babelforce manager app, babelforce introduced the role "Reporter". This user role has been configured for accessing the babelforce dashboard only. Reporters will not be able to conduct any changes in the manager app, neither will they be able to view anything in the manager.

In the following, we will look at the rights of the reporter and the advantages that come with it more closely:

Making someone a reporter is easy. You can either have a new user created, only responsible for reviewing the dashboard or you can have this role added to any of your agents.

In some cases, it might make sense to configure different dashboards for reporter and managers repectively. If you want to add a new dashboard, just get in touch with us via support@babelforce.com. In the following, we will shortly explain to you how you can switch between the different dashboards:

At the top of your default dashboard, click on the small arrows: Afterwards, click on the drop-down menu to choose the dashboard you want to have displayed. To refresh the dashboard please do not reload the browser but click here:

Reporters will not see any of your dashboards unless they are added to one. To give a reporter access rights to a certain dashboard, message us at success@babelforce.com.

Perfect, you are ready to set up your babelforce user rights management now.
